Buyeo - Cheongju

Reveil matinal et depart pour Buyeo, ancienne et derniere capitale du royaume Paekche qui a succede a Gongju. Ville plus petite ... elle regorge neanmoins de nombreux sites remarquable ... en cours de route, lors de la visite du musee Paekche de la ville, ... rencontre avec une charmante prof d'anglais (coreenne) et de ses eleves ... on passe une partie de la visite ensemble (les eleves sont tout exite :P) ... et ils me proposent meme de partager leur pic-nic (ca tombe bien, j'avais pas encore manger) ... un dejeuner copieux, je goute a tous les plats des eleves, un regal ... on s'essaye ensuite a quelque jeux traditionnels de l'epoque, puis je les quittent pour continuer la visite de la ville seul ... Nombreux vestiges, et je me retrouve dans l'ancienne forteresse, pleine de sites interressants et de jeunes ... a chaque fois que je croise un petit groupe d'entre eux, j'ai droit a un "Hello, How are you, Where are you from, Welcome to Korea, I love you, You are handsome" ... je commence a avoir l'habitude, mais c'est toujours super plaisant ... un peu plus tard, je retrouve le groupe de ce matin, avec la prof d'anglais. Je lui propose de faire travailler sa classe en correspondant ensemble a mon retour ... hehe. Bon je finis la visite de la ville par un parc de sculptures ou errent un couple d'ecossais en visite pour voir leur fils. Je part ensuite pour Cheongju ... visite rapide des attraits principaux du centre, ... puis je me lance dans la recherche d'un hotel sympa, et surtout pas cher ... pas facile, c'est une ville residentielle et etudiante ... pas prevue pour les touristes ... a un carrefour, regardant ma ptite carte, ... un gars m'interpelle, et me propose son aide .. je lui dis que je cherche un hotel pas cher ... et il me propose d'essayer un JJimJilbang ... On peut y passer la nuit pour pas cher, et il y en a un juste a cote, en plus ca me permetrra d'experimenter un truc tres commun en Coree ... Pour faire simple, un JJimJilBang, c'est un genre de bain publics, avec sauna, salle de repos pour dormir, salle tele, resto et bar, et une fois paye l'entree, on peut y rester 24H ... Juste avant d'aller m'y essayer, Young-Wook m'indique un super resto ou je mange un delicieux et enorme Samgyeopsal (barbecue de poitrine de porc).
Bon, j'arrive dans le JJimJilBang ... les parties saunas et bains ne sont pas mixtes, et tout le monde est a poil. Bon, en tant qu'europeen, je me fait reperer assez vite, il doit pas y en avoir beaucoup dans ces lieux, mais ca me procure quelques avantages, ... d'abbord une grosse reduction a l'entree (5000won pour toute la nuit, moins de 5Euros, sauna et bains a volonte) .... ensuite, je rencontre un prof d'allemand qui parle un peu anglais, .. (bon je passe le fait que comme Mr Morgoth, je, hein, bon) ... apres une ptite seance Tele, et une petite biere, direction dodo ... Grosse journee


Early waking up and leaving to Buyeo, the last capital city of the Paekche kingdom (after Gongju). A smaller city, it is however full of interesting places ... on my way, while visiting the Paekche museum if the city, I meet a very nice english teacher with her students ... we spend a part of the visit together (the students are very exited :P) ... and they finally offer me to share their meal (picnic) ... a very good meal, I can taste all the students dishes :P , so nice ... then we try the traditionals games of Paekche ... and finally I go on my way to continue the visit of the city alone ... Lot of various historical places, and I finally reach the ancient fortress, full of history and teenagers :D ... Everytime I meet a group of them, it's always the same, "Hello, How are you?, Where are you from? Welcome to Korea, I love you, You are handsome" ... well I am quite use to it now, but it's always so pleasant ^^V ... a bit later I meet again the english teacher and her students. I offer to become a penpal for her class when I'll be back to France ^^
Then, i finish the visit of the city with the scuplture park where a scotish couple are lost there :P ... and I decide to move on to Cheongju... A quick visit of the center main spots ... and I go ahead to find a cheap nice motel to sleep ... Well not so easy, Cheongju is a residential and studying city, .. not really for toursits ^^;; ... on a crossing way, I take a look at my map, a guy talk to me offering some helps ... So, just tell him I am looking for cheapest hostel, and his advise is to try a JjimJilBang ... I could spend the night and sleep there for very cheap price, and in the same time, experiencing a very common thing in Korean life ^^ ... A little explanation of what is a Jjimjilbang ... it is kind of public baths, with sauna and else, with TV room, resting (sleeping) room, restaurant and bar, and you can spend about 24h there. Just before going there, Young Wook tell me about a nice Samgyeopsal restaurant, I wanted to try that (under the advice of Jiyoung :D) .. after that huge dinner, ... I finally go to the Jjimjilbang ^^ ... well, in the sauna and baths part, there is only men ... and everybody is naked ^^# ... Well as a westerner, finally I had some favours ... first the owner makes a special discount price for me 5000 instead of 7000wons ^^V for all the night ... secondly i can't really hide that I am not asian, and so, I easily met a german teacher who can speak some english too :P ... After watching the TV a bit, and a beer ... going to sleep ^^
